Alisa Walker FNP-C, RN

Family Nurse Practitioner

The oldest of 4 and born in China Grove, North Carolina to a former Navy Seal father and a mother working with special needs students, Alisa Lipe Walker was raised with a mixture of organizational discipline and an immense sense of compassion. An accomplished high school softball player and honors student, Alisa continued her studies and athletic career at Catawba College, playing field hockey and softball and graduating with a bachelor’s degree in computer science in 1997. Working as a computer analyst, Alisa had always held a fascination and growing interest in the diversity of the medical field, particularly nursing.

Alisa left the world of computer programming to pursue nursing, graduating in 2013 from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences with Magna Cum Laude honors and earned the Louise Harkey Best All-Around Nursing Student award. Continuing her education, at Winston Salem State University, to attain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Alisa finished with a 4.0 GPA and began her career at Genesis Healthcare as an RN treating a variety of patient diagnoses with emphasis on wound care. In 2016, Alisa decided to pursue her career further, determined to become a nurse practitioner. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing, with a Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty in 2018. Her clinical focuses have been Orthopedics, Complex Family Medicine, Adult and Women’s Health, and General Pediatric Care. Her compassionate nature led her to choose to complete her clinical rotations at free clinics, health departments and clinics that mainly catered to the needs of underserved, underinsured populations. Dynamic Health is a perfect fit for her in that it allows her to emphasize the importance of holistic care for her patients, witness his/her quality of life improve with attention to individual patient goals, and allows her the ability to connect one on one with her patients.

She began her career in Renewed Medicine at Dynamic Health Carolinas in June 2019 and, determined to help her patients to the very best of her ability, has amassed several specialty certifications. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is certified to perform specialized aesthetic procedures by the Cellular Medicine Association (CMA), specializing in the Vampire Facelift®, Vampire Facial®, Vampire Breast-Lift®, O-shot®, and P-shot® using Renewal Therapy. She is certified through Accellerated Biologics to perform Autologous Bone Marrow and Adipose procedures. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is a regular guest on Charlotte Today, Daily 2, and Morning Break giving her the ability to share the developments of renewed medicine and educate on the process and benefits of treatment to the area community.

In her free time, Alisa loves travel and culture immersion, spending time with friends and family, and puzzles. An avid reader, Alisa describes reading as “a low budget travel option that has the power to transport me to different locations and experiences, without leaving my sofa.” She has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and intuitive thinking which has inspired a recent passion for escape rooms. Her ultimate joy is her daughter, Amera, a sophomore at Texas A&M University studying veterinary science.
