There are a number of treatments for bladder issues, but most require surgery and other invasive procedures, complicated medications, or embarrassing diapers and pads.

But a new treatment option has emerged and is changing the way bladder problems can be addressed here at Dynamic Health.

The Pelvic Wave was developed by a urologist as a non-invasive solution to a number of bladder complications. Below is a brief look at the Pelvic Wave, how it works, and the problems it can treat.

What Is the Pelvic Wave?

The Pelvic Wave is a chair designed with special electromagnets. The patient sits in the chair fully clothed and nothing penetrates the body. No contact with the skin is necessary.

How Does the Pelvic Wave Work?

When seated in the Pelvic Wave, the muscles of the pelvic floor are positioned directly above the magnetic field. The strength of the magnetic field is adjusted accordingly in order to get the muscles of the pelvic floor to contract. This stimulation of the muscles creates a neuromuscular response and helps to retrain the body’s functionality. The bladder and pelvic floor are able to once again sync up, and your natural bladder control is restored.

Is the Pelvic Wave Proven to Work?

The Pelvic Wave has been studied and approved by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and over 40 clinical studies have exhibited its effectiveness.

What Can the Pelvic Wave Treat?

The Pelvic Wave is used primarily to treat urinary incontinence (UI). The most common symptoms of UI include an overactive bladder, leakage, stress incontinence, or urge incontinence.

But the Pelvic Wave is also effective at treating:

  • Uterine and vaginal prolapse
  • General pain
  • Neuromuscular re-education
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Vaginitis
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Sexual performance and enhancement
