At Dynamic Health, we provide the same level of sports performance services for the recreational and the elite athlete alike. Our goal is to do more than just treat your symptoms. We recognize the often complex nature of sports-related injuries and combine all of our pain treatment protocols to create a systematic plan to correct the cause of your injury.
We take a high-tech approach to healing by utilizing state-of-the-art equipment like the accelerated recovery performance (ARP) trainer. These units are more commonly used by professional athletic teams and are a key component of Dynamic Health’s rehabilitative treatments.
Accelerated Recovery Performance (ARP) Trainer
The ARP trainer uses a bioelectrical current, in coordination with exercise techniques, to speed up the body’s natural recuperative ability. This technology is based on the premise that injury is the result of the muscle’s inability to absorb force.
Some of the benefits of ARP training include:
- Relaxation of muscle spasms
- Prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy
- Increase of local blood circulation
- Muscle re-education
- Maintaining and increasing range of motion
All ARP treatments work on the principle that joint problems, tears, sprains, fractures or repetitive task injuries are caused by muscles not properly absorbing force. This energy propagates to tissue not intended to accept the force.
We identify the muscles that are incapable of doing their job and treat them by placing electrode pads on the area to eliminate the cause of these symptoms. Most of the time, the symptom of pain or weakness will be resolved. We do not treat the specific bone fracture, joint problem or tear, but treat the muscles so they can perform their normal role of stabilizing the site.
Our pain treatment protocols incorporate a combination of medical diagnostics, injections, rehabilitative treatments and chiropractic adjustments. This approach allows us to deliver pain relief as quickly as possible, stabilize your condition and address the root cause of your pain, minimizing the likelihood of occurrence.
