Maggie Zimmerman, Physician Assistant
Maggie Zimmerman, PA, knew she had found the right job when she joined Dynamic Health as a Physician Assistant.
“I became a Physician Assistant because I wanted to be able to help people. And I have always been interested in medicine and how the human body functions,” Zimmerman says. “Pairing the two seemed like the perfect mix and perfect job.”
Zimmerman, who earned her Master’s in Medical Science (MMS) in Physician Assistant studies at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers, Florida, previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a nursing home.
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Zimmerman completed her undergraduate studies at Western State University in Colorado where she competed in both basketball and soccer while graduating magna cum laude. She enjoys working for Dynamic Health because of the organization’s multidisciplinary approach in combining chiropractic medicine with traditional medicine.
“I chose to work for Dynamic Health because I wanted to be involved with an innovative treatment method to deal with pain,” Zimmerman says. “I’m driven to serve my patients because I love to connect with people. I like to see how they progress with their care. I love to hear about their lives and how we are able to improve their quality of life.”
When she’s not taking care of her patients, Zimmerman enjoys rock climbing with her husband, taking her two dogs, Bo and Bella, to the dog park, and playing basketball, soccer, and tennis. She also enjoys hiking and going to the beach.
